After beginning the season with consecutive losses against Cathedral and East Boston, the O’Bryant Tigers are coming together as a unit. They shut out visiting Trinity Catholic, 22-0, last week, and are looking ahead to a key division game this week against Burke High (0-3) and former Assistant Coach, Byron Beaman.
“We are starting to learn the system, and we’re executing,” said OB Head Coach Kevin Gadson of his team’s performance against Trinity Catholic. “When you execute right, good things will happen.”
Gadson is leaving nothing to chance this week.
“We’ll cross our “t”‘s and dot our “i”‘s,” said the fourth year coach. As for his former assistant, Gadson said Beaman is both highly competent and determined.
“He knows us, and we know him,” said Gadson. “It should make for a good game.”
The clash is scheduled for 3:25 Friday afternoon at Madison Park.
