JAMAICA PLAIN — It was a tale of two halves Friday afternoon at White Stadium between the top two teams in the South Division, but Latin Academy’s strong second quarter gave them just enough of a cushion, as they held on in the final seconds to beat Brighton, 21-14.
The Dragons scored all 21 points in the second quarter, including touchdown runs by junior running back Ernest Kellough and sophomore quarterback Kyle Dance. Brighton owned the second half, scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter, but came up one play short of potentially tying the game as time expired.
